Brunel Promotions, the Bristol-based producer of promotional calendars, diaries and notebooks for businesses, is celebrating 150 years in business with a move.
It is moving from Bedminster 3.5 miles down the road to a purpose-built building in Bonville Road, Brislington, Bristol.
For the first time, its Bristol-based production will be all on one open-plan floor, resulting in more efficient working. It will also enable it to strengthen its diverse range of calendars, which cover subjects as wide ranging as wildlife to cars, or scenic views to inspirational themes – all of which are company branded.
Brunel celebrated its 150th birthday and its move by making a major investment in new, cutting-edge, digital printing equipment which will help to future proof its business. It will also launch a range of notebooks that are 100% recyclable shortly after the move.
The additional investment will strengthen the business and help Brunel to be more productive. In addition, a dedicated fibre optic line providing a 1GB service will significantly improve communication to clients and customers.
Mark Shipley, Brunel Promotions’ operational director says, “The printing industry moves on all the time, so our premises move and the investment is all about making us a stronger business that is fit for this new decade. It is also a very good way to celebrate our company embarking on the future.
“The investment in new, state-of-the-art equipment means we will be able to offer even higher quality calendars, diaries and notebooks with faster turnaround times and we fully expect to take a higher percentage of market share as a result.”
