Belgium bakery calls in Hewett in major Worcester factory recruitment drive

A Belgium bakery company, which has had a base in Worcester for more than 20 years, has announced a significant investment in its Lower Broadheath site which includes major recruitment plans.

Vandemoortele Worcester has appointed Hewett Recruitment to drive a significant amount of new full time roles across the business which cover wide range of roles across the business with a focus on production.

The company has multiple sites across Europe and the US and focuses on two key product groups – Bakery Products and Margarines, Culinary Oils & Fats. It employs more than 5,000 people globally.

The investment in the site will create a new set of requirements within the organisation with additional skills and experience required to work with the new technology being implemented.
