Barclays appoints Vikki Hemming to lead the mid-corporate market for the Thames Valley region

Barclays has announced the appointment of Vikki Hemming to lead the mid-corporate market for the Thames Valley region.

Vikki will be responsible for the continued growth for Barclays mid-corporate, managing and driving forward the mid-corporate business proposition across the Thames Valley region, encompassing Oxfordshire, Berkshire, North Hants, Buckinghamshire, Swindon and West Wiltshire.

The role will see Vikki work to deepen existing and new client relationships, operating between £6.5 million and £50 million turnover, and being responsible for managing a team of over 20 colleagues based at offices located in Oxford, Reading and Swindon.

Commenting on the appointment Mark Stuckey, Barclays head of mid-corporate for the South of the UK, said: “I am pleased to welcome Vikki into her new role.

“Vikki’s notable industry knowledge and experience will prove invaluable, as we continue to strengthen our mid-corporate teams and industry specialists to support clients in fulfilling their business ambitions across the region now and in the future.”

Over the last three years Vikki has been responsible for leading the Barclays mid-corporate team for Richmond, Guildford and West London as well as leading on Barclays diversity & inclusion and the Race at Work agenda.

Prior to this, Vikki worked as a Barclays relationship director responsible for the consumer and healthcare sectors across Oxfordshire.

Vikki has a wide range of banking experience having started her career in financial services in1986 including roles with NatWest/RBS before moving to Barclays in 2012.
