Andoversford is home to the Cotswold Point-to-Point races, an enduring fixture in the Gloucestershire sporting Calendar. Come racing at Andoversford, and you can expect to see competitive and entertaining racing, rub shoulders with friends, the rich & famous, and horsemen from all over the West Country, and enjoy a quintessentially British afternoon’s entertainment.
In 2016, we relaunched a famous Cheltenham Festival race that originated at Andoversford – the Grand Annual. The Robert Hitchins Group Andoversford Grand Annual is a classic piece of racing heritage, bringing our race, first held at Andoversford in 1834, back to its rightful site. In 2018, the Robert Hitchins Group Andoversford Grand Annual will be the centrepiece of our most valuable card ever, and plays to the heritage of a race that now concludes the Cheltenham Festival. The original and definitive version began over the fences and ditches of Andoversford, won in an eventful race by Fugleman.
